"I never thought environmental stewardship would be an interest of mine, but once I started my internship at BiB, I was able to see how amazing and interesting nature is. I loved learning all about native and invasive species, the importance of tree stewardship, etc.

My students definitely enjoyed it as well, especially since it showed them that there was a real, important reason behind all the work they were doing. I think that made it more than worth it for us.”
